Saquon Barkley is a perfect example of how the environment influences performance. You have the same guy and drop him in a different place this year and you get a different level of performance.
Performance in just about anything is the result of a bunch of factors. •Sleep 🛏️ •Nutrition 🍏 •Exercise 🏋️♂️ •Environment/Culture 🌎 •Leadership 🤝 •Ability to cope 🧠 You may achieve high performance without all of the puzzle 🧩 but won’t take much to fizzle & burnout

And a great example with the classy way he handled that. You know that didn’t feel good, but he supported his teammates 💯 and just went to work. 🙌🏼👏🏻
Jalen Hurts getting benched in college football’s title game before going on to win a Super Bowl as a starting quarterback is going to be a great replacement for the “Michael Jordan got cut in high school” story we tell our children when things don’t go so well in sports.

There’s one guarantee in sport. You’ll be told you can’t do it. So do it anyway. You can’t win. So Win. 🎤@officialdoechii

It always seems fitting to celebrate my birthday the same week as #NGWSD2025! I usually spend bdays reflecting on how far I am from who I want to be. This year, I’m honoring how far this girl has come. The youngest of 5 , raised by blue-collar parents/coaches in a small Philly row home, she once dreamed of living in the unattached 🏡 she saw when going to games in Bucks County. I’m glad she never stopped working hard & dreaming bigger. Everything good in my life is the result of what I learned at home & on a field. 🤍

Its National Girls & Women in Sports day! Well done to all the young women working hard to become better athletes & leaders. 👏🏻 A study by Ernst & Young found that 94% of female executives played sports….with almost half playing at the college level. If your goal of playing sports is just college $, think BIGGER about the experience you’re gaining. #NGWSD
