If you are a paediatric or neonatal trainee, or indeed anyone involved in neonatal care, this is a must to download, read and use. Great resource.
I am very excited to share our open access book. It offers practical guidelines for clinicians how to explain neonatal brain injuries to caretakers. Includes 60 color drawings and explanations of brain injuries. Link to download the book:

One of the best bits about academia is being there when your students graduate. Well done @TngChang on your PhD today, your NIHR ACL and bright future. The slogan is appropriate and the sky is the limit. @MedicineUoN @NUHNeonatal. Thx to all co-supervisors.

@Tim_van_Hasselt @TIMMSleicester Interesting median 11 day stay on PICU and 25% on minimal respiratory support. Were these transisitions to PICU (HDU) to transition to general wards? Continuity of care essential, how do we do this better for this group of complex patients?

Fabulous, can't wait to be on-call for the very first weekend in NCNC! Now it's all in I can finalise the configuration for every space to be digitally connected for research, capturing everything thanks to @NIHRresearch funding. A real world NICU research testbed!
Today was the official opening for the newly expanded NICU at QMC. The unit has been expanded from 17 to 38 cots and now has more family space, a dedicated bereavement suite and a dedicated teaching space and fully kitted out SIM area. 1/5
