Data from our @ChildrensPhila team that we must disaggregate by race, ethnicity, & nativity so as not to mask pop health disparities. Also: extreme preterm birth isn’t the same as moderate or late PTB birth. Lumping will hamper prevention efforts; we must disaggregate here too.
Results of this cohort study suggest heterogeneity of preterm birth across maternal nativity, ethnicity, and race and gestational age categories. @AlejBarreto, @DrDianaMW @ChildrensPhila

@PennLDI, this paper is a direct result of @LDISUMR. @AlejBarreto & I started working together back in 2021; she is one of the most amazing students I’ve ever had the privilege to mentor. She will be heading to medical school this summer & is proof that these programs work.

This is how we de-silo health equity work. This writing team met and received guidance through @NeonatalJustice. They were already galvanized but their passion turned into product and is being more widely disseminated because of our network. Join us.

Was a joy to work on this with my superstar team of @eveobregonMD @DrRobinOrtiz and #DrKateWallis in conjunction with baller @Penn librarian #SherryMorgan. Pro tip: try to never do a systematic review without a librarian. They elevate your team.
