Preach it!!!!
Muscle loss isnāt just for older adultsāit starts earlier than you think. Nearly 1 in 10 adults aged 20-59 already show signs of sarcopenia (muscle loss), even in their 20s and 30s, especially without intentional movement. Recreational activities like strength training can lower sarcopenia risk by up to 56%, while physically demanding jobs donāt offer the same protection. Muscle isnāt just for looking strongāitās key for staying functional, preventing injuries, and supporting your metabolism. The solution? Add strength training to your routine 2-3x per week at minimum and stay consistent. Muscle is the organ of longevity. PMID: 39543540.
