@WardHydro Interested to hear more on this idea. Not that I think it will matter. Alito seems immune to hydrology.

You know, the idea that episodic connectivity is still meaningful connectivity isn't complicated for anyone that's ever used a rechargeable battery. #SCOTUS got this one wrong on the science. Supreme Court Limits E.P.A.’s Power to Address Water Pollution

@UF Welcome Dr. Sasse to the #GatorNation. I hope you'll champion scholarship, equity and empiricism as @UF seeks to meet so many modern challenges. When you arrive let's chat about why your take on #WOTUS is nonsensical, counterproductive demagoguery.

New paper on Mediterranean stream metabolism and CO2 dynamics. A memorable collaboration! Field work shows three authors (@annalupon @biogeogenia and @joseljledesma) working hard, and three other just standing around showing off their new waders.

After years of effort, and >60 million SM measurements, we finally published results from a statewide forest water yield experiment. Stand-level water yield is highly predictable given aridity, water table depth, and leaf area. That's it. @WatershedEcol

@BrunaLab Is it too much rhetorical escalation to say that Nuremberg made "following orders" no defense from moral accountability?

@UF @PresidentFuchs I think this is a good start. Thank you. That said, if the answer to the question of when faculty expert opinion contrary to state interests should be permitted isn't "always", then you are rejecting THE core tenet of academic freedom.

I can't tell which frosts me more...the exploding examples that @uf is gutting academic freedom to placate demagogues, or the fact that Florida State (and every other university whose faculty signed this amicus brief) is not.
NEW: @UF restricted the participation of five other professors’ in legal cases against the state, records show. w/ @anaceballos_
