@MontgomeryCoMD Good work but sounds like need better plan for these really heavy snowfalls. This clearly impacts so many aspects of people’s lives, particularly around school closures and work commutes.

@SheenaSeegers @MCPS I don’t doubt it. Maybe be more transparent about it, about what the actual issues are and then we can come up with solutions. Obviously everyone is working as hard as they can with the resources they have - but it’s clear that the available resources are insufficient.

@SheenaSeegers @MCPS Sounds like an excuse. Maybe it’s time to rethink the process that is more than inclusive. Maybe we need more weather trucks, such as borrowing from other counties/areas. Obviously, it’s complicated but closing this much is not good for kids if it can be avoided.

@MCPS @MoCoCouncilMD Very frustrating as a parent and employee. Completely unnecessary. Why do we pay taxes if MoCo can’t accommodate a snow storm? Maybe it’s time to rethink your inclement weather strategy to prioritize families and staff together…
