Anxiety for jr doctors is palpable as colleagues fight for their lives in ICU having sacrificed their health for patients. Every time I don PPE to examine a patient with cough, fever or sore throat I think of that stranger who told me I’m not frontline because I’m “just a GP” 😔

Ambulances ramped at the brand-new ED at Albury Hospital. It's almost like the problem is no beds in the hospital to admit patients to, and not enough aged & disability or outpatient care in the community to discharge patients safely to, rather than the ED itself!
