Might this be my first real day of retirement? Absolute paradise here in #achill reading Graham Greene and listening to the gentle sound of the ocean. There’s nowhere else I would rather be. Beautiful Ireland. Beautiful Achill.

@helenriddell You’re in a beautiful part of the world there, Helen. I have such fond memories of visiting Cape Clear Island in the 1980s. A magical place.

Back to the future. Brilliant idea @dr_hlfoster to revisit analogue methods of recording the past. Right there with you, Helen!
I'm taking an analogue approach to research as artist in residence on the #Lost&Found project. Read more in my latest blog post about why I'm using tape recorders and typewriters. @EastMidsOHA @uniofleicester @eventsBL @NottsLibraries @TapeLetters

@SilvieFisch @DevlinMcaliskey @Tyneside_Irish Sounds like an incredible evening. Bernadette Devlin was born in Cookstown Co Tyrone, not far from my own birthplace of Coalisland, Tyrone. She was a very important force our lives during The Troubles in late 1960s and 1970s.
