Robins Match Review AFC Portchester 1-0 Downton Wessex Premier League 8/2/25 This was a tremendous team performance against the best side in the league. We may have returned with no points but these lads gave it their all yesterday. With 13 players still injured the gaffer had to put his faith in youth again and they didn’t disappoint. Four of our development players stepped up, Artem Mosiakin, Luke Charity, Ben Gulliver and Cam Henley all giving a great account of themselves. Our three new young signings, Toby Stainer-Reid, Connor Gill and Zac Seal should be proud of their performances too, the whole team dug deep, tried to break down a strong Porchy defence and we did have some chances. Ozzie and Raff were solid at the back, it’s always a relief when you see those two names on the team sheet! Great to see James Clark on the pitch again, his experience shone through from the moment he came on. I could wax lyrical about everyone on the team sheet actually! The gaffer was a happy man and rightly so, another win is just around the corner, we can sense it. Well done lads, you were brilliant today 👏👏👏👏
