1/ So, it looks inevitable that the studios in RTE will be pretty much closed. This is the end of an era for us. We made lots of @RTE internal productions from Dempseys Den in 1987 right up until The Den reboot in 2020 all made in the studio building.

The very first bits of #ZigAndZag merchandise in December 1988 were the 'Nothing to Do with Toast' VHS and soft toys. There was a real push to get the toys done for Xmas so Ciaran did these cool mock-ups for the factory - the ones in the shops were a disappointment.
