Senior police officers are forging their ages and refusing to retire. How will younger or junior officers grow in rank? This is supposed to be Nigeria’s primary law enforcement institution. Do you know how insane and alarming this is? President Tinubu, whose real age is unknown or controversial, resorted to a questionable legislative maneuvering to keep the current Inspector General of Police in office despite his attaining the retirement age. They’re destroying the institution the more for selfish reasons.
