@MKY_Studio You want a wide open shutter, with a long exposure. Consult your cameras manual.

@RFantinatto There's a great Sony camera that I own, sadly only goes up to HD, that enables you to dial in any frame rate 1-60. Really you just need a wide open 1 sec exposure and an actor who doesn't get headaches.

Decodes of the original slit scans done by Douglas Trumbull for Kubrick's 2001 a Space Odyssey. These are approximations of the pictures that were long exposed (with a track or zoom)to get the Stargate images. I have no idea who the author of these is sadly as they were pulled off a newsgroup over 20 years ago.

@srin_writer I actually made something for Chris for the end of his Sqaurepusher video that was very much like this. Unfortunately, the idiot, forgot to tell his DP we needed a camera that could do long exposures so the effect didn't work as planned.

@srin_writer Fight Club sex scene. Although I don't think that works very well either. The whole concept is good in your head, not so much on film.
