This is not a political post. I would genuinely like to know! As an investor are you ok with a 44.6% capital gains tax? Would love to hear your educated thoughts on this:
MONTHLY UPDATE APRIL 2024
✅ PADI = $109, 536
✅ Monthly Income = $9,128
Notes: Have made several portfolio changes. Also heavier on cash now waiting for opportunities and earning 5% yield in money market.
$JEPQ $JEPI $MAIN $SPYI $ARCC $O $VICI and more!
MONTHLY UPDATE JUNE 2024
✅ PADI = $112, 460
✅ Monthly Income = $9,371
Notes: No new positions or additional purchases! Simply dripping dividends back into funds. PADI increased slightly from last month!
$JEPQ $JEPI $MAIN $SPYI $ARCC $O $VICI $FEPI $BST
MONTHLY UPDATE MAY 2024
✅ PADI = $108, 966
✅ Monthly Income = $9,080
Notes: PADI dropped slightly from last months numbers. This is due to the fluctuating payouts from covered call ETFs.

In my opinion Tesla is going to face darker days ahead. I have made the difficult decision to sell all of my $TSLY holding!

MONTHLY UPDATE JULY 2024
✅ PADI = $111,676
✅ Monthly Income = $9,306
Notes: Still heavy on cash paying 5%. Added shares to few funds below on dip. PADI slightly ⬇️ from last month due to lower covered call etf payments.

Got paid another $TSLY dividend of $903 today. One of the highest payouts I’ve received so far 🙌
(Full transparency: I am down -30% on my position and it is 1.2% of my total portfolio)
DEC 2023 UPDATE ///
I finally broke the $100K per year in dividend income mark so a little celebration is in order 🎊 I show this not to boast but to inspire! Keep stacking my friends 🙌

$JEPI and $JEPQ reduced distributions for February! Hopefully they pick back up next month. A clear disadvantage of these cc funds is the irregular payouts!
Started a new position in the income portfolio today!
✅ $RNP
✅ Dividend Yield = 7%
✅ Monthly Payouts
With interest rates set to drop I feel this fund may do well (NFA)
$776 dividend income from $TSLY and $APLY today!! Still not happy with these YieldMax funds but hanging in to them for now! Hopefully the payouts will counterbalance some losses over time!
For those that say “Don’t chase high yield” Here’s an example of how it can work! I’m up on $BST 7% and it consistently pays a yield of 9% every month!! When you buy in matters. Don’t follow the herd!
Unpopular opinion: Bonds are 💩
Over my 15 year investing journey bonds have lost me - 30% while equities have made me + 200% in gains!!! I used to follow the boglehead principles but no more!
I’ve been asked why I would be in 70% cash for several months. It’s for times like this!!! If you’re young do not panic . Keep calm and carry on. This too shall pass.
I love tracking my dividend income like this because it helps me stay motivated. I highly recommend doing so. (Ps additional interest of $16,000 from cash savings not reflected on screenshot)
Realty Income has announced an increase in the monthly dividend to $0.2625/sh.
This marks the 125th common stock monthly dividend increase since listing on the NYSE in 1994 & is a 2.1% increase in the dividend amount compared to last month.

Question: Is buying covered call funds like $JEPQ the same as selling your own covered calls? Except you’re basically just paying someone else to do it for you?
$NVDA There were reports earlier today that Amazon had stopped buying Nvidia chips. This turned out to be fake news. Don’t believe all the nonsense you read online!!
