Yesterday, GEP scholars wrapped up an amazing 4th week! This week, we had guest lectures from Dean Waite, Dean McCann, and Dean Jones. Students also had the opportunity to visit Community of Hope and participate in a pig heart dissection led by Dr. Gaby Weissman. #GEP2023

Week 2 ✅! GEP Scholars had a lecture from Dr. Buckley about health inequities; discussed the roles of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace; met with Dr. Roett to discuss the importance of primary care; and spent time with their med school mentors! #GEP2023

With Week 5 off to a great start, GEP Scholars enjoyed a Q&A session with ear, nose, and throat doctors Dr. Harley and Dr. Reilly. The Scholars have also begun finalizing research on their health disparities topics for their capstone presentations next week! #GEP2022
