A tweet saying when something is dropping or why something is later than usual could repair a lot of the negative feelings. With no info, how does someone know who to blame?

Musician - was $19.99/yr, Now $22.99 or $1.92pm
Musician Plus - was $35.99/yr, Now $39.99 or $3.33pm
Label plans - was $79.99/yr, Now $89.99 or $7.50pm.
They are no longer joint cheapest.

Distrokid may be experiencing issues?
The Spotify drop is NOT complete. We are expecting more.
It also took 7 hours for the funds from the first drop to appear in withdrawable bank balance (usually takes 1-2 hours).

Still nothing for Spotify. Currently 8 days behind schedule (normally drop 24th-25th of a month).
Other distributors have/are paying it out so Spotify have definitely sent them for the Sept 2022 earnings. Seems just a Distrokid specific issue. They are as tight lipped as ever.

New claims that Distrokid now give you a pop-up warning if Spotify believes you may be getting dodgy streams/buying playlist placements/buying streams.
This may be part of Spotify's new model going forward in to 2024 (along with not paying under 1k stream tracks).

Getting a lot of reports of delays on withdrawals.
Distrokid normally process twice a week. Usually around Tuesday and Thursday (sent to Tipalti).
Some screenshots show 6 or 7 days waiting. Means 1 or 2 occasions may have been missed.
No word why.
ToS state can be up to 15 days.

I'm half asleep still but if understanding correct, fee of 1.5% if, for example, Spotify do not pay royalties for Jan by March 15th to Distrokid for us.

Judging by my own info and the comments, we are all still waiting for Distrokid to drop the US royalties from Spotify. Spotify drop usually takes 2 to 3 days to complete. Not worried at all yet. Perfectly in line with normal timeline.

Staff at Distrokid are unionizing. This could be good for us too. Through better working conditions comes better processes and transparency.
*in before they increase prices and blame the union. Common tactic to push expenditure on to the consumer and protect profit margins.

Spotify has now demonetised songs with below 1,000 streams within the past 12 months. A unspecified number of unique listeners required too. As of April 1st so our June+ payment.

Possible issue with Tipalti.
Numerous comments and PMs regarding the issue. "Payment processed" yet not received. Got word it's the same with another distributor who also uses Tipalti.
It will likely arrive tomorrow. Just mentioning so you know you're not alone with the issue

Withdrawals are still being processed it seems but the Spotify royalty drop has stalled with no word as to why.
We are all in the same boat.
There has been some US, GB and a splattering of others but, depending upon your listener base, we are only around 1/4 to 1/2 there.

To be fair, that is going to happen regardless as a lot of people don't understand how stores calculate payments or know the exact process if caught with fraud. People rarely accept blame too.

From what I can gather, it means releases are sent as a priority to stores and can be up on some as quickly as 24-48 hours.
But what is the criteria for receiving it? Priority support too?

For those who are new, websites that give you royalty estimates are NEVER accurate. They do not consider the free listeners or even family subscription plans that all pay far less per stream.
One says 1 mill streams is $7,000!! More like $2.5-3,000 and only from US/EU.

Youtube is running late? Historically, 12th-19th drop date range but varies between 2 and 3 months delay. Waiting on December so... possible anytime up to march 19th?
Spotify should be within next week (24th-ish) and Apple (28th-ish).

I check my royalties and quantify each countries revenue and mentally thank them.
"Thank you Brazil for paying for my electric bill"
"Thank you Canada for buying my petrol for a week"
"Thank you US for paying this month's rent"

I always advise to use 2 or more distributors for such situations as we have faced over this holiday period. Distrokid CAN be quick, but they're not consistent.
I follow legit rival companies. No micro-companies that could close tomorrow.

Yep, we are all still waiting on our withdrawals and also waiting on Apple royalties.
No issues with banks, that's an automatic statement when withdrawals hit days 7 or 8 to placate with possible reason. Distrokid only promise payment within 14 days. No use emailing til day 15.

Multiple reports now coming in that Distrokid has processed a backlog of withdrawal requests and sent to Tipalti. They should arrive in your personal banks/PayPal over the next day or two
