Zeb Jackson really came out of the gates in mid-season form. Would have expected more rust but he’s been a bright spot in this tournament. Love that for him and love that for us.

The bracket broke great for VCU, all things considered. Just have to capitalize on the opportunities here.
@District_Baller We could end up beating Nevada and Miami. That could be a really positive outcome for our NET in the long run . And the SH loss won’t hurt the resume. It’s more of a missed opportunity

@District_Baller Duke and Mizzou in Atlantis, Wisconsin at MSG, Michigan in Maui, St Johns at Barclays, UConn in Atlantis, ASU at Barclays, IowaSt & Boise St in Orlando. ALL very winnable games. It’s crazy how we continue to not get over the hump.

VCU will play Nevada at 7:30 PM in the Consolation Bracket of the Charleston Classic. VCU is 1-1 all-time vs. Nevada: • 2/20/2009: 70-71 L on the road (ESPNU BracketBusters) where Nevada head coach Mark Fox was ejected from the game. • 11/27/2009: 85-76 W at the Siegel Center.

Seton Hall lost at home to Fordham (who was picked 14th out of 15 teams in the A-10), but 12 days later beats VCU (who was picked 1st in the A-10) Shaheen Holloway was right. He's "built for this."
