This week is Fun Days for United Way! All students and staff are invited to dress in theme each day this week and are encouraged to bring in a $2 donation (optional) to support the United Way Campaign. We look forward to seeing all your awesome outfits!

We will be taking time to honour Indigenous Veterans Day (Nov. 8 ) and Remembrance Day (Nov. 11) with a schoolwide assembly, on November 7th at 11:15am in the gymnasium. Families are welcome to join us for this assembly as well. Lest we forget.

Preparations are well underway for our upcoming production of The Magical Land of Oz taking place Oct 30th @KeyanoTheatre ! 🦁🌈🏰 While our performers are rehearsing their roles, this amazing group of volunteers is busy putting finishing touches on costumes and props!! 🎭✨🎶

This colder weather has us thinking ahead to...HOLIDAY CONCERT SEASON! 🎄🎶🎉 ECDP-Gr 2 classes will perform on Dec 3 at 6pm while Gr 3-6 classes will perform on Dec 4 at 6pm. To note: Mme Chantalle's and Ms. Cochrane's Grade 2/3 classes will perform Dec. 3.

On October 22nd, there will be a bannock sale compliments of Candace and our FNMI Student Leaders.All students and staff are invited to purchase some delicious bannock with butter or honey/jam for $5. All proceeds will be donated to the @downiewenjack. ORDERS DUE MONDAY OCT 21ST!

Reminder: Get those smiles ready! Fall Picture Day is NEXT WEEK! Lifetouch will be here Monday October 21st to take fall photos for all students. To note: Fall Retake Day which was scheduled for October 24th is cancelled. Lifetouch will be back for photos in the spring as well!
