Day 2 at SEED Conf🌱I particularly enjoyed the keynote presentation by Prof. #Kay Tisdall from @EdinburghUni . Her study focuses on how to include right-based perspectives into assessment in #ECE . Very impressive. Will collect her publications to read more:)

Day 1 at SEED Conference🌱This year’s theme is ‘improving quality and equity in early childhood education’, and the particular foci are assessment and playfulness. Attended keynote presentations and Sino-Finnish roundtable forum, met my previous tutors from @BNU_1902:) Fruitful!

Many thanks to the committee of the 30th International Children’s Drama and Theatre Festival and its 14th Forum in Subotica 💖I presented online about the possibility of drama as approach for children to develop an understanding of loss, time and life.

🥹When starting my PhD I never realized the attempt to apply drama in education as approach into early years settings would be so challenging. Honestly, my confidence collapsed several times. Many thanks to all the inspiring feedbacks and kind support, you brought me light.

In the past year I was trapped between the two bodies of DiE and early childhood education. I appreciate the kind support and supervision from @DrSophieWard @Dr_YuweiXu and Dr Dimitra Kokotsaki. Now time to present my struggles and the very initial progress:)
See you tmr - Yuncong & Yuxin will present our project on Chinese non-heterosexual men’s experiences nd perceptions of being early childhood educator! My PhD student @DiWANG722’s presentation is also grouped into this session, alongside @CriticalEYears
