It’s an investment in human dignity and basic financial security.

At home with Covid right now and all I can think about is the money I’m not making because I have to miss work.
It sucks.
I know we don’t have one,
And likely never will at this rate,

It WILL give them the ability to say no to toxic workplaces.

An amazing parent caring for their kid at home isn't contributing less to society than someone working for a paycheck in some bullshit job that doesn't even need to exist, that is actively harming the environment or other people.
