@realmadysonm As a pastor who’s getting a master’s degree, I have to disagree. I want to know as much about the Word as I can I want to stretch myself so that I can grow to the fullness of Christ. God didn’t call me to get a master’s degree- He called me to ministry. I chose this to honor him

@ChrisHohnholz Is there not room in your theology for both Scripture and experience? They are not mutually exclusive but cohesively woven together to bring about change and renewal. I agree that there is a general lack of high regard for the Word among some evangelicals but not among all of us
