I actually asked my irl friends to help. Both of them play Limbus but are stuck at Canto IV. And then there's mine. Guess which one is mine.
Hint: My friends' translations are better than mine.
A shame that no one was able to translate the tension and the romanticism of "tôi-em".
One of the annoying things of being bilingual is that sometimes I write things that I can't quite translate. So now I wrote an Ishqueg thing that approximately 1 person can read and be interested in (me).

Ishmael being the dead wife would almost be cliche. She has a very simple backstory, as opposed to Queequeg. She's generally conventionally pretty and associated with like one of the most vaguely pleasant things ever, the sunset. It's actually so funny

Maybe I should compile the Ishmael's IDs backstory somedays. West Zwei Ishmael is basically LCB Ishmael but instead of joining the LCB, she joined the Zwei. Butler Ishmael is totally different. I don't think she was even at the Great Lake or met Ahab.
It's safe to assume that these 2 Ishmaels aren't the same person right?

They are a complete opposite in term of backstory but ended up in about the same place when setting foot on Pequod anyway. They are so different yet so similar that I'd imagine even in the swap AU Canto V would follow very similar story beats
