Disabled people make 38% fewer journeys than non-disabled people because transport is not as accessible as it should be. We’ve joined @NCAT_UK to work together with disabled people to create change but we need your voices to bring this work to life:

Could you lead the delivery of our Wizzybug Loan Scheme and help make a meaningful difference to the lives of thousands of disabled children and their families? We’re looking for an experienced clinician, with experience of leadership, to join us:

Having a Wizzybug powered wheelchair is more than learning to drive. It’s about exploring and experiencing the sensation of movement. Some children may only ever accidentally move the joystick but this will still unlock their development:

Powered wheelchairs are expensive. But, if you live in the UK and your son or daughter is 14 months and up, you can apply for one for FREE! You can find out more and apply for a fun, Wizzybug powered wheelchair on our website:

An appeal to the UK weather: please brighten up so kids can get outside in their Wizzybugs! We’re hoping this clip of Danaan having fun outside on one of our rarer, warmer days will act as a kind of ‘sun dance’. Well, we can try can’t we?

Wizzybug should be viewed as 1 way of a child moving - powered mobility doesn't have to replace a walking aid or manual wheelchair. Research has shown skills learnt through having something like Wizzybug can transfer to other mobility. How cool is that?

Magic moments with Morris 🪄 It’s finally here: the day you get fitted for your very own Wizzybug. It’s a bit strange and you’re not sure what those 2 grown-ups are doing fiddling with harnesses and adding the footplate, but you do know that your new ride looks -super- cool.

Did you know children with visual impairments can use Wizzybug? With close supervision and support, children can be encouraged to experience the action of movement. There's research that shows it can help kids to develop visual maps of their environment:
