I took my kids electronics away for the summer. So far they’ve discovered the swimming pool, trampoline, their bikes, the creak, corn field, the river and the woods. All without having to leave the farm.

This morning on the way to school I had a driver turn into me while on the highway. kids and I are battered and bruised(Kaycee and Reagan were home), but otherwise alright. This was a not so gentle reminder to make sure those you love know it and to live life to the fullest.

Today is my wife’s last day working off farm. She will taking on the most important job of her life full time, raising our daughter and keep me organized. Raising Reagan will be the easier of the two 😂

Can we take a moment to appreciate how amazing our medical technology and staff are, last month I found out my daughter had a hole in her heart. Today a centimeter size hole was plugged and tonight she will be resting at home. In 6 months the heart will have fully healed.
