Today I spent time with residents of the 31st Ward Community Action Group at their annual hoagie and pepperoni roll fundraiser which supports the residents of Lincoln Place, Hays, New Homestead and Gates Manor. Thank you for having me, it was great to talk with everyone!

Lots of the publishing things where people celebrate a reported demise (the end of social media! Of blurbs!) are exactly the things that help level the playing field at the small presses where I've worked. Essentially free, they've benefited, for example, first-time authors.
