The recent zoning decision poses a threat to the pristine beauty and cultural heritage of Sapelo Island and the Hogg Hammock community. This community will be taxed out of existence and this is a travesty to watch an elected body not accept public comments. The attacks on one of

SB 233 is nothing more than a way to subvert the state constitution without going through the process of changing the state constitution related to public education by a 2/3 vote of the General Assembly. If this issue is believed to be true why is this not on a statewide ballot?

there is no change in the bill that requires private schools not to discriminate based on wealth. If the school doesn’t want to admit you they won’t have to take you. Let’s be clear this bill subverts the state constitution on free and public education.
