Textbook example of extreme political polarization where you see the other side as an enemy instead of an opponent. Pretty dark stuff to think Pierre Poilievre is a threat to our democracy.
It’s a message that’s going to resonate with a lot of conservatives who feel under attack for swimming against whatever the elite COVID consensus of the day is. Never mind the specific points on the protest.

Catching up on a bunch of pics and videos from Pierre Poilievre rallies the last few days. The holy grail of political success is building from traditional partisan support into a broadbased movement. Seem like he's well on that path.
Going to take the chattering classes a little while to figure out and accept, but this man isn't putting on a show for the leadership. There's no pivot coming. An ambitious and consequential platform is on the horizon.

There’s also the fact that 70% of the passport office is still working from home. Try that with McDonald’s drive through workers and you’d have the same problem, except with Big Macs and French fries.
The recent surge in passport applications and renewals that have caused Passport Canada offices to become overwhelmed was anticipated – and could’ve been avoided, according to unions that represent passport officers.

So many people blame social media for our polarized politics when in reality it’s because a lot of our politicians aren’t that nice and play up divisions. You can disagree with your opponents without hating them. That’s not on display here.
