My grandfather died a little over a year ago from Alzheimer’s. I work in neuropsychology, and I am still not even a LITTLE healed from this. It was the most tragic and heartbreaking thing to be a caretaker for him and be with him until his literal last breath.
If you have lost a loved one, please do not expect of yourself — or allow others to expect of you — that your #healing path through the #grief will be quick, easy, direct, or permanent. #Alzheimers #dementia #quote
