I grew up watching lots of WELL WRITTEN shows with female leads. A lot of us guys did. With no issues. We loved them. This is why I find it hard to buy into the “you hate this show/movie cause it’s a girl lead.” We hate poorly written crap… give us something worth watching.

We can hopefully put this argument to rest (probably not) lol. Women also like fan service, women (especially in Japan) also draw / design women to look very sexy, and appealing, in anime and manga and a decent amount of body standards aren’t “unrealistic”.
