The Montreal Canadiens went a combined 53-94-17 just to end up with Juraj Slafkovsky and David Reinbacher. Just think about it for a second. THE LAST 4 TOP 5 PICKS WEVE HAD HAVE BEEN GALCHENYUK, KOTKANIEMI, SLAFKOVSKY AND REINBACHER. WHY ARE WE SO ALLERGIC TO TALENT

“How is your visibility as Indigenous people helping others as there’s a drive into deep left field by Castellanos , and so that’ll make it a 4-0 ballgame”
So to recap…
1. Lane Hutson would be the greatest player in Sens history
2. Caufield is scoring 50
3. Slaf at ppg without even trying
4. Tkachuk stinks
5. Guhle clears Sanderson
6. Habs own Ottawa
Ivan Demidov
Juraj Slafkovsky
Nick Suzuki
Cole Caufied
Kirby Dach
Lane Hutson
David Reinbacher
Michael Hage
Kaiden Guhle
Michael Hage
Joshua Roy
Jacob Fowler
Logan Mailloux
This is beautiful. Kent Hughes, Jeff Gorton and Nick Bobrov are building something spectacular.
So to recap…
1. Hutson is our best player
2. Primeau on waivers
3. Scratch Matheson on Saturday
4. Suzuki and Slaf need a wake up call
5. Gallagher might be back
6. Shoot Matheson to the sun
7. Get Matheson off the powerplay
8. Make Hutson-Guhle a permanent thing
I’ve honestly had it with the fake outrage regarding the Logan Mailloux thing. He took a picture of an adult woman’s shoulder and hair and showed it to some teammates? Was it stupid? Yes it was. Is this mistake anywhere near significant enough to end his career? Fuck no.

"Before everyone attacks Mark Scheifele online let’s remember that he’s not a dirty player. It was an emotional hit and it was uncharacteristic. He’s a good dude and didn’t intend to injure Evans.
#NHLJets
"
So to recap…
1. Hutson once again our most dangerous player
2. Guhle was our best player in this one. Stud
3. David Savard had an ECHL level performance
4. Bad game by Monty
5. The first line was bad again at even strength
6. Dach will need time, but so far he’s been bad
I’ve said it before…
But Carey Price led a team coached by Dominique Ducharme to the Stanley Cup Finals.
I challenge you to find me a more impressive feat by any player in the history of sports.
Why is there a Suzuki-Pettersson debate? I love Nick Suzuki and I think he can grow into an elite player but Elias Pettersson is a MUCH better player and that’s not up for discussion. There’s not a single thing Suzuki does better than Petey
If you’re a Habs fan or just someone who doesn’t like AM34 please don’t try to discredit what Matthews has done this season because of personal bias. Appreciate greatness while it’s here. We’re witnessing something historic and we’re lucky to be able to watch a talent like this.
Lane Hutson makes one mistake after leading the entire team in points and showing off insane flashes at a men’s tournament and fans of opposing teams all come together to hate on him. Just hard to accept he’s better than the player your teams spent top 10 picks on 💀
Remember when we said the Habs would have a tough time making it in the Atlantic in a few years? Well…
Boston: old and mid
Buffalo: losing culture
Detroit: Yzerplan is dogshit
Ottawa: 😂😂😂
Toronto: Treliving is an idiot
Tampa: sold their souls already
Florida: competent
Ridley Greig is one of the saddest players I’ve ever seen. Got bitched by Reilly last year, then makes a dirty hit on Dach and refuses to fight Pezzetta afterwards. He’s really the embodiment of the Sens franchise: a pussy.
Dallas beat Vegas in 5 last year. The way they did it? Great goaltending, a very solid defensive structure and timely goals. I wonder what team also does all 3 things....🧐🤔
I will be rooting for the Leafs in these playoffs. Get mad all you want but I want to see them succeed and I have a gut feeling that this is their year.
Can’t express how happy I am to having been proven wrong on the Slafkovsky pick.
I think what we’re seeing right now might exceed even my wildest dreams for him in his sophomore year lol.
Habs management deserve their flowers for having the balls to have made the selection.
People are talking about Suzuki and Caufield and rightfully so. But no one seems to be talking about KK who had a great game and scored a hell of a goal. He was arguably the best of the three last night overall
Jesperi Kotkaniemi started the season with 17 points in 34 games. Since then he has 3 points in 20 games. Eric Staal made his Habs debut exactly 20 games ago. It’s no coincidence
So to recap…
1. The first line has been a disgrace this year. Unacceptable performances by each of them.
2. Hutson had his least flashy game offensively but had his best defensive game. Played 30 minutes as well.
3. Bad Monty game
4. Awful Dach game
5. Xhekaj was dogshit
I actually have no idea how you can even relate what he said to misogyny? A man can also be morbidly obese. Promoting obesity is basically encouraging someone to fall into unhealthy habits. PK made a harmless joke and if you’re mad at this you’re soft asf
Gotta say I never thought I’d see Habs and Leafs fans unite on something but the sheer stupidity of the Sens fanbase seems to have done it. Speaks volumes.
The entire league should be absolutely fucking terrified of what Slafkovsky will become in just a few years. Don’t know how you’re gonna be able to stop a guy like that in his prime
Notes:
1) Send Slafkovsky to Laval
2) Alex Newhook deserves better linemates and is playing better than his stats say
3) Disappointed in Anderson. Guy has gone back to being the fast winger who does nothing 95% of the time
4) Guhle is awesome
5) Best Suzuki game in 2 years
In arguably one of the best drafts of all time, the Habs have probably their worst draft in a decade. And that’s saying something. They set themselves back in a major way while their competition took major steps forward. Good luck competing in the Atlantic lol
Edmonton fans, you’re gonna love Brett Kulak. He’s a steady dman who isn’t physical but uses his IQ and his stick to defend effectively. He can move up and down from pair to pair and if he’s given the opportunity, he’d be a good guy to have on the ice at the same time as McDavid.
Im just gonna say this. The Blackhawks are going to heavily regret trading Kirby Dach . You don’t trade 21 year old centers with that type of skill and size combination
Don’t understand the Slafkovsky hate from other fanbases. But I guess it must suck not being able to say you have the modern day, more skilled and more aura-giving version of Jagr. In his prime, he’ll be the best playoff performer in the entire league and I’ll say I told you so
Here’s a quote from Kingston’s head coach on Wright’s “underwhelming” stats. You combine that with the fact that he hadn’t played OHL hockey in 18 months and that he was focusing more on his 2 way game and you begin to understand why he didn’t put up 130 points.
Nick Suzuki has more points than each of Matthews, Marner, Tavares and Nylander. I criticize Bergevin for a lot of things. The Suzuki contract isn’t and likely will never be one of those things
Saying a team is lucky because their goalie is incredible is wrong on so many levels. Carey Price is paid 10.5M to do these things. You take out any team's best player and they're not as good lmao
I've decided never to bring up Josh Anderson on this app again. I think it's absurd how overrated he is (some people go as far as calling him untouchable). He has 1 point in 25 games. He had a bad RAPM chart. He had a negative WAR. He's injury prone. bUt hE's bIg aNd hItS
Changed my account. Hi my name is Michael. Most of you know me as Danault for the Selke/Net Front Dvorak. Well right now this team sucks so imma just be me
Honestly no matter what happens this was a hell of a ride. This run will always stay engraved in our memories. I’ll never forget it and I’m fucking proud of this team
Lane Hutson (MTL) with the wheels and a world class shot that stunned the goalie. Barely breaks stride. Thought he might be in the doghouse after taking a penalty just before this, but this was a good way out of it…
As a big Caufield fan from before he was drafted, I don’t like what they’re turning him into. He used to have the ability to create for himself and others and was much more dynamic. Now he just defers to his linemates and relies on opportunism. He plays more like Hoffman did now
