Words can’t explain how proud I am of Kamilla. Recruited her hard while I was at Syracuse. Here a rear relationship with her even though there was a language barrier. But what we were fluent in is love and winning!!! Congrats Kamilla 🤩😍.
Kamilla Cardoso moved to the U.S. from Brazil by herself at age 15. She didn't speak English and lived with her AAU coach. She committed to Syracuse, then transferred to South Carolina and won a title. Today, Cardoso had a career-high 17 rebounds—and just won ANOTHER title.

For the record, I came for all necks of anyone I played against in practice or games bc I loved competing and winning. I play hard every possession in practice or games. I was relentless in my drive to do my part in helping my team win. I left it all on the court!.

8 hour 🚌 ride after 2 weeks on pause, no true preparation for back to back games vs Marshall wbb. We won the 1st game but had a lot adversity to navigate in the 2nd. ultimately fell short in overtime playing w 6 players. In the end, I’m FREAKING PROUD of @ODUWBB 🦁🦁Monarchs.
