My newest post to help us get through 2024: "What is your motivation to talk with a Trump voter?" I hope it helps any of us who have a family member or friend who voted for Trump, who we hope to persuade not to do that again.

@AaronBelkin Thanks, Aaron -- I just have to add, I can't flip the most hard-core for Trump; but I have gained some insight into how to talk with conflicted conservatives, including people who voted for Trump once (or even twice) with very mixed feelings.

@gailcollins I have read enjoyed your writing for years, but today is the day I've been most moved. Your humility ended up being matched, eventually, by that of Fr. Sherburne, and the humanity of both of you reminded me of why I do the work I do. With gratitude, Dave
