I’ll be the bad guy: Malik Monk is a great player, but he’s not a guy you can win with as your lead. His inconsistency makes him perfect for a 6th man role, but makes him a liability as a lead guy. You opened Pandora’s Box by starting him, and now you’ve gotta convince a future Hall of Famer to take a bench role to make it work or drop your main playmaker. Not pretty.
