This week we enjoyed learning about Chinese New Year. 🧧 We made some colourful snakes to represent the year of the snake. We loved learning about the different traditions that take place during the celebrations.

The pupils in P6 were keen to sample some Scottish foods this term. It was great to see pupils trying new foods. We rated each sample and made notes on taste and texture 👍🏼 🏴

We began revision of length today by practising using a ruler to measure accurately and which unit of measurement was needed. We had to search the classroom for 16 different sized lines which needed to be measured precisely to find the matching letter. Very impressive!

P6 showed an interest in learning more about the history of Scotland. We worked in pairs to create this timeline showing key events from the age of the Romans up to the present day. Well done everyone! #WorkingTogether #Scotland #ScottishHistory

We were introduced to a new website this term called Twin Pics. This website generates a new AI picture each day and the challenge is to describe the picture accurately in less than 100 characters. The percentage showed us how close we were to the original!

Yesterday, after completing practise of money during numeracy, we applied our skills to plan a meal for two using prices online. We had to stay within the budget and include all ingredients needed for the meal! I loved seeing all your meal plans! #Money #Budgeting #LifeSkills
