Our girls went to breakfast this morning at JTs in De Soto and a kind man who heard them talking about going to state ended up paying for all their meals. Grateful for the community I get to work in. Whoever you are, THANK YOU for your kindness and support!

Our gym was absolutely incredible last night! Our student section showed up 2 nights in a row & brought all the juice! In my 5 years at DHS, this has been the best student section I’ve seen! Appreciate you guys more than you know! We had the whole community behind us!

Struggling for words tonight. It always hurts when the season comes to an end but man, tonight was tough. So proud of our girls. They battled until the end tonight. Going to deeply miss coaching these kids, especially our 3 seniors. Thank you Mack, Cassidy, and Carly.

Another school record belongs to our freshman PG Makenzie Farmer! Last night she had 5 assist to bring her season total to 83 for the season with more to play. The previous record of 81 was from 2006-07 by Kira Gonzalez. Congrats Kenzie!

Our team took a huge step forward tonight beating a really good and tough Spring Hill team 59-54. Complete team win and a huge 4th quarter. Shupe and Ricks with 16 each. Ostronic with 15 and was incredible on the glass! On to the next!

So proud of these kids. Came in on a day off and got up nearly 1500 shots (1200 3s) in total (including free throws)! Amazing what you can get done in an hour with some intentional work! If we can continue to have this work ethic, this year could be special.
