It's true that Grok cannot replace a person clarifying their own position in real time.. but expecting Elon musk to reply to everyone who asks his opinion is unrealistic. If you prompt Grok to find out why Elon Musk is likely critical of CFBP, it can paint a pretty clear picture based on his previous comments. And, of course, it provides sources that you should check yourself... not all sources are created equal, and AI models are not the best at weighing the merit of the sources they use. But it can provide an excellent starting point for research, which you can and should cross reference yourself while you wait for Elon Musk (or anyone) to personally reply to your queries. 🤷‍♂️

Indeed.. it's best as a data analysis tool.. it's a decent aggregator but it it can accurately analyze information that you prompt it with. If you're willing to take the time to cross analyze and provide feedback.. it can certainly give accurate info. It's not an infallible source, but it can be an invaluable tool. In the case of the initial post, it easily explains why people like Elon are critical of CFBP.. it provides links to the sources it uses for its responses. You can check to see if it's hallucinating in its responses by checking the sources and cross referencing them yourself. It's nothing more than a research tool.. but it can help anyone find a place to start in research.. and help clarify the key points to research. Of course, it cannot help in the case of users who do not possess a fully functional brain... but nothing can.
