Huge congratulations to our Under-19 soccer team on their victory in the Munster Final today against an excellent Tralee CBS side. Anthony Adenopo bagged the winner just shy of the hour mark and, to a man, their performance was full of grit, composure, skill and intelligence.

Well done yesterday on a huge win for U15 White Cup Hurling team on a huge win versus Ard Scoil Rís of Limerick in a triller in Bansha on a score line of 2-14 to 1-14. The team progresses to the final against Thurles CBS next week.

yesterday. Four schools - De La Salle College Waterford, Good Counsel Wexford, Kilkenny CBS, and St. Kierans College Kilkenny - participated on the day. Each school brought two teams.
As a result of our recent Overnight Soccer Fundraiser, we're delighted to have raised a total of €8330.58c for an extremely worthy cause. The funds will go towards a girls dormitory for one hundred girls and three classrooms in Butema, Uganda.

The Frank O'Callaghan Cup was held in De La Salle College last week as we welcomed a number of Primary Schools from the local area for a hurling blitz. The cup commemorates the late Frank O'Callaghan who gave 42 years of his life to De La Salle College before passing away in 2018

Great News for De La Salle College. The Department of Education has approved grant funding for Additional Accommodation for De La Salle. This will include an additional Construction Studies Room, Home Economics Room and Multi-Media Room.

We were delighted to welcome past pupil Chris Breheny, perhaps better known to many of you as Moncrieff, to our school last night to speak to the students for the Annual Awards Night.
Our Senior debaters were out in force again this evening. Our debaters are now competing in the knockout stages of the Concern debates competition. Firstly it is a huge achievement to even get to this stage of the competition.
Today our school community united to celebrate our Founder and the Patron Saint of Teachers, St. John Baptist De La Salle. De La Salle Day is always a special one in our school, where we reflect upon and cherish the inclusive nature of De La Salle College, Waterford.
