It was great to sit down with @MaryannPetri to recap the success and events of the NAUWOU Conference, despite two hurricanes. We showcased the ONLY mental health practitioner with lived experience, Dr @ParentalAl66062 Alyse Price-Tobler PhD UniSC, who has received a PhD with TWIN studies on the adult survivors of severe parental alienation and abduction (SPAA), as well as 10 of the worlds leading experts in this field who work with adult survivors of SPAA. These twin studies were published in two books and are available on Amazon, so anyone who is interested in this form of child abuse can read and learn about the work of Dr. Alyse, who is now leading expert. No other research has ever been done on this very specific form of child abuse, to this extent. The NAUWOU Conference was accredited by the Florida Bar Association, who allotted 15 CLE's (Continuing Learning Education Units) for watching the conference and watching the documentary film, Erasing Family. Of the 15 credits, 7 count towards the mental health criteria. These credits also apply for ondemand learning, which will be available soon. The conference had amazing support and speakers who stepped in to make sure the show continued, even though Danica Joan Dockery and I were not able to be there as originally planned. Martin Christopher Mongiello - former White House Master Chef, stepped in to work on the production side of the conference, while Patricia Freudenberg - CEO of Miss-U-Gram, LLC and Jean Marie Russo - Speaking Success Secrets, drove the conversations along. Our speakers were absolutely freaking amazing! We had two full days of information-packed topics and sessions. We had special guest speakers, including Dr. Craig Childress as our ally and Dr. Alyse's clinical supervisor, who also provided an amazing introduction for the conference, we also had the amazing Dr. Rebecca Bailey, who was our special guest and NCMEC board member, and we also had another board member from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, Scott Berne. Both of these board members were amazing to have as speakers. It doesn't stop there, we had so many amazing speakers, Dr Stan Korosi of PASG Group, Ginger Gentile director of Erasing Family film, Dana Laquidara, Andrew Folkler, Ashlynn Lerner of Erasing Family Film, Brandie Rolark, Sacheen Collecutt, The SOULution Therapist, Jeff Imrie, and Aaron Whelan. Maybe it's time to change platforms again. We need more choices, not less. The ability to block others is a way to protect those who are effected by abusive behaviors, such as online bullies. Just because they cannot respond on this platform doesn't mean they cannot respond at school or connect with others who will champion their cause. @X take it back! People need a safe space to share, without fear of being bullied or harrassed.

The FIRST Inaugural Child Psychological Abuse Awareness Day event was EPIC! We just wrapped up an incredible two-day event on October 10th and 11th, with 9 hours of powerful sessions each day. It was a HUGE success, and I couldn’t be more proud of our amazing speakers and participants. THRIVERS SPOKE, sharing their powerful stories and insights, and we closed the event with a BANG—a Special LIVE worldwide broadcast on the PRESENTS Television Network, hosted by none other than Martin Mongiello and Patty Freudenberg, as well as a special guest and ally, Dr. Craig Childress.
