Ask questions. Do your due diligence before taking any next steps. NIL isn’t going to save anyone’s eligibility. The NCAA isn’t going to protect you. You need to protect yourself.

The thing that gets lost in this new landscape is academics and eligibility. Young people are given advice to hop in portal by “people who have their backs” but don’t understand the rules. Only people negatively impacted in long run are the student athletes.
