You can side with your country without siding with your government. It's called democracy.
There is nothing the Liberals won't do in order to hold onto power Including purposely destroying our relationship with the United States "Were all in this together vs Trump" Yeah GFY I will never side with the people who destroyed our country for 9 years

Alberta health care is having a moment. Marxist-Leninist hip replacements so everyone leans to the left, evidently.
Alberta Health Services is a corrupt, leftist rathole. Alberta Premier Danielle Smith needs to abolish AHS and fire 95% of the management. Decentralize the healthcare system in Alberta and never again allow Marxist Edmonton to gain control of the biggest budget program we have.

"support key industries"? Suggestion to @FP_Champagne. Be clearer. Tell Americans what the cost to them will be. Dial back the nice and amp up the price.
Let’s all be clear. Canadian steel and aluminum support key industries in the U.S. from defence, shipbuilding and auto. This is making North America more competitive and secure. We will continue to stand up for Canada, our workers, and our industries.

Increasingly, this is the tone that will resonate with most Canadians. Why? Because Trump's constant denigration of Canada means voters are giving up on any deal with him. They will gravitate towards a leader who stands up to Trump, more than a leader that negotiates with him.
What about “No, never” doesn’t he understand? No, we will never give in to a bully. Canada will always be the True North, Strong and Free.

We were always proud. We tend to be quiet about it. Sometimes we decide to show it. This is one of those times. No need to diminish our genuine pride by excusing Trump.
Shouldn't we be proud to be Canadian for Canada's sake and not because so many are angry at Donald Trump. The sudden resurgence in national pride due to Trump is disturbing. Let's celebrate Canada for Canada, not in opposition to Trump.

She's got a point. @ABDanielleSmith has fired whole health boards and CEOs in much less time.
It has been a full week since U.S. President Donald Trump and the Canadian government reached a border security agreement that included a 30-day window to demonstrate our nation’s commitment to securing our shared border against fentanyl trafficking and illegal migration. A key part of this agreement was the promised appointment of a ‘Fentanyl Czar’ to coordinate this effort between Canada’s various federal agencies, the U.S. government, and the provinces. Alberta is perplexed and concerned by the delay in appointing this Fentanyl czar and calls on the federal government to do so without further delay. There is much work to be done, and while efforts to strengthen border security and crack down on fentanyl trafficking have begun across the country, these efforts will have limited effect without a federal lead to coordinate the national response. This week, I will be joining my fellow Premiers in Washington, D.C., to advocate for a stronger U.S.-Canada trade and security partnership. It is incumbent upon the Prime Minister @JustinTrudeau to appoint the border czar in the coming days to support the Premiers’ and his own Ministers’ efforts in this regard. Alberta also reiterates its call for a federal election to be held in March, immediately following the selection of the new Liberal leader on March 9, so that our country can negotiate a renewed trade agreement with the United States from a position of strength. Failure to do so risks the imposition of tariffs that will cost the livelihoods of hundreds of thousands of Canadians.

Not certain this helps CPC win, actually. But it shows the mega-MAGA-mentality seeping into Canadian political discourse. Over-the-top, rage-obsessed, populist commentary has no place in Canada's history of "peace, order, and good government".
I look forward to working with @PierrePoilievre to ensure that EVERY cent stolen from hard-working Canadians via parasitic and criminal taxation is returned to them.

This, of course, is Trump-level deranged.
I don't think people realize how corrupt the entire system is in Canada. I'm actually not sure any of us can even comprehend it. And what will be done? Nothing. And I mean that sincerely. All institutions, all systems and levels of Government have either willingly or unwillingly participated in it. No one will come forward, no one will be allowed to investigate it. We see small investigations like ArriveCan for example and even that is swept under the table of corruption. How many scandals & ethics violations did Trudeau alone skirt his way out of? What makes it all so disgusting is we have these individuals in power telling us to be moral & maintain our values while they continue to do the opposite.

US values of freedom and democracy in foreign policy replaced by 'cash and carry' under Trump.
Mike Waltz on US aid to Ukraine: "We need to recoup those costs. And that is going to be a partnership with the Ukrainians in terms of their rare earth, their natural resources, and their oil and gas and also buying ours."

Curious as to whether any conservatives (small c or big C) were invited? And, will there be a public report for Canadians to read?
The threat to Canada’s sovereignty and security is real. The resolve of government and industry leaders to stand up for Canada and build resilience is reassuring. Thank you for your leadership and for convening the Canada-US Economic Summit, @JustinTrudeau.
