The boys worked their tails off this fall with our fundraiser and I told them we’d pay it back. Well deserved boys!!! Can’t wait to see them decked out in all the gear. Stay tuned…more to come. @OdessaCBaseball

I’m 19 dad. So… uh… unless we’ve got an older sibling we don’t know about, you’ve had 19 as a dad. 😂
49 years on this earth today. 30 of them as a dad. The proudest moment u can have as a dad is the realization that ur kids DO listen. I’ve raised a son & daughter both college athletes both graduating Valedictorian. Both good people. Stay in the fight dads! @DavidIHutson V-speech

I respect your opinion. I honestly do, and I think that for most HS players it’s an accurate statement. However, for me it’s not about a few more years, versus a free education. Baseball is my passion. Baseball will be a part of me for the rest of my life. Once I hang up the cleats, I’ll pick up a fungo. I’ll play as long as I can. If college is it, then I’ll GA at a good program and work my way up the college coaching world. I’ve never played baseball to get to the “next level” whatever that may be. I’m not going to college to get a job. I play it because I truly love every second that I spend with it. I love the challenges. I love the relationships I’ve built. I’ve learned over the years, the real baseball world is very small, and the relationships you have with people are more valuable than the name of the institution on the degree.

Yes, I appreciate the advice. I just don’t know if I’m the best fit for a PG. I’m 5’11 205lbs. I agree that they could help me develop skill, but I don’t need to get any “bigger”, I played at 220 this year and felt a touch slower… so this summer I’ve worked in leaning down. Academically I don’t see anywhere for me to improve as far and helping me get accepted to school. I feel PG’s are great to help you have an extra year to develop physically, or improve academically to get into certain schools you don’t otherwise qualify for. I’min contact with a few at the moment to discuss my concerns. Thanks you!

@Coach_Harp25 Thank you Coach! Yes sir, I’m actually trying to reach out to some D1 jucos. Obviously we have some of the best jucos in the country right here in Texas. I appreciate the help.
