When someone you love dies the love you feel doesn't die with them. Love finds a new expression, grief. Grief is what you feel when love has nowhere to go.

Two years ago today my beloved Mum died. She was a rock, a hero to many and loved by all who knew her. I missed her but I was calm. At her funeral&at the 1st anniversary of her passing I was calm. Today I'm in bits, broken hearted&I missing her more than ever.

Mum was born August 10th 1931. This photo of us laughing was taken in her garden in Jamaica. 5 days later she suffered a stroke from which she never recovered, dying on 31st March. Today 131 days later is the first day I've fully felt the crushing enormity of losing her. HBD Mum.
