Had similar upbringing. Catholic, went to church. Scholarship to private Catholic uni. Didn’t see pride flags or representation until adulthood.
I’m bi. I’ve always been bi.
Only thing representation, love, & support does is reflect the goodness in your soul.

I never bought him a pride onesie when he was a baby.
I never read him a book that had two moms as part of the storyline.
When he was little stores and businesses didn’t have LGBTQ+ displays and we didn’t celebrate pride month.

I’m parked in accessible spot NEXT TO A COMPLETELY ABLED BODIED guy in his 30s with NO mobility device with a handicap hanger. THEN a staffer comes up to ME (not him) and asks me if I’m staying here and why?

I’m gonna say the thing we are all thinking as democrats.
That was earth shatteringly bad… really really really bad.
