Mallams diagnosis hit me like a ton of bricks. He's been at the forefront of protecting KD and Nig from COVID-19. A NEC cttee under his leadership just finalized a report on a national response to COVID. His infection came in the line of duty. We pray for his quick recovery.
KADUNA UPDATE: Malam Nasir @elrufai has disclosed that he has tested positive for Covid-19. He is in self-isolation as required by the case management guidelines of the NCDC for a someone that is not showing symptoms.

While this is scary, @NCDC should really consider integrating "active cases" on the main dashboard. Reporting "total confirmed" gives a distorted picture. We have only 436 active cases in Nigeria today. Kaduna has only 2 cases. not 6.
