After 55 years, the Grand Rapids Festival of the Arts is DEADโkilled by Trumpโs war on culture. His admin gutted the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) funding for programs that support real artists, instead prioritizing โpatrioticโ projects for the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Last year, 250K+ people showed up to celebrate art. Now? Gone. But hey, Iโm sure the NEA will get a govt-funded portrait of Trump hugging a flag going instead. #GrandRapids
