@starppael @annaclarity1 @noplaceforsheep Yes, the US needs this alliance, but Australia doesn't choose when it ends. We are occupied by U.S. military if you hadn't noticed. Suburbs of Sydney and Melbourne would look like Gaza before an Australian PM closed Pine Gap or booted out U.S. military.

@sharemyopinion As the head of the Church Of England, Charles can only act after being "instructed by God." That's not a joke. His official position as head of the Church of England is like God's secretary and he's supposed to have "direct communication".

@NickHintonn Bulbous-headed 'grey aliens' only became a Concept for UFO grifters after they'd featured in pulp science fiction magazines for two decades. Often in stunning cover imagery that sank deep into children's minds and stayed there. 'I got abducted by grey aliens!' was fiction first

@NoBanksNearby @BenjaminDEKR But a huge win for Human Artists Getting Paid, right? Fk you lot whine ceaselessly. Maybe some of you just don't like artists at all, regardless of the media or medium they use? Gen A.I. has provided endless opportunities to bludgeon artists in the name of New Arts Ethics.

@BenjaminDEKR But a human made it, and got paid for it. That's all that matters now, right? That any visual thing show in cinemas or on TV must only exist because a human moved digital elements around instead of A.I. generating it? Aren't they Your Rules?

@effthealgorithm I've found the A.I. summaries on a whole bunch of recent Google searches quite good, short and comprehensive. From science to history, and cooking. It's certainly better than scrolling through 8 paragraphs of a 'recipe story' with 12 ads to find out a recipe ingredient measure.

@EmsTheKat @denimneverdies What's wrong with a sequence of unrelated shots of people doing nothing? Dada films have their audiences, too. Must everything watched abide by 'The Hero's Journey' screenplay format that has ruined Hollywood cinema with cookie cutter three-act structures for 40 years now?

@terciopeloviper @denimneverdies Did you know 10,000 works of art by some of the greatest human artists of the past 500 years are now locked in storage units by mega-wealthy "art investors" and most are never loaned to galleries and haven't been seen in public for decades? By anyone? Regulate those fkers.

@ArtyFrayn @denimneverdies Didn't 'cinema' start with a decade of shorts? The first feature length film wasn't made until 1908.

@denimneverdies A.I. movies aren't going to flood cinemas unless the film industry wants them to. Most people will watch A.I. movies on their phones, at home, like they do already. The biggest problem of all for the film industry is decline of eyeballs for new films, in cinemas and streaming.

@denimneverdies What did 11 sequels to a car chase movie reveal about the human condition that we didn't already know? I'm opposed to the world being flooded by careless visual slop as well, but let's not pretend such Content only just began with A.I. Maybe 'Hollywood' should try harder?

@TUPACABRA2 everyone who adopted the Rupert Murdoch and Fox News 'War On Woke' after January, 2021, because they couldn't think for themselves and needed an elderly media billionaire to tell them what to say and what to oppose.

@UFODebrief Philip K Dick would've punched Whitley in the face for stealing his alien-hybrids idea if was still alive when Communion was released. First published as science fiction, recycled as non-fiction. Writers are so shameless.

@Vincent71132572 Yes, Labor redirects public wealth into the hands of Australian and foreign billionaires just like the Liberals and Nats do.
