I finally got my hands on a PlayStation 3D Tv! I just tried playing Black Ops 15 minutes ago and the 3D indeed works! Unfortunately I was using cheap 3D glasses I found in my closet and the quality is meh, so I ordered some Sony official glasses that will be coming in next week!
