I am grateful to the voters in the 16th Congressional District for putting their confidence in me. It’s an honor to serve the district I grew up in and represent our Midwest values. As the representative for the 16th District, I will continue to take our commonsense, conservative principles to Washington and ensure our communities get a seat at the table for important policy discussions. Our country and our state face many challenges — an economy that hasn’t worked for working families, a wide open border that’s put a strain on every town, and violent crime that’s ripping through communities. Regardless of tonight’s results at the national level, I am committed to being a part of the solution to these challenges for central and northwestern Illinois. 🇺🇸

Keeping kids out of class for the DNC is shameful. Illinois students are still feeling the negative consequences of Governor Pritzker’s COVID lockdowns. Putting political interests ahead of students underscores the need to expand, not reduce school choice programs in our state.
NEW: Teachers’ union bosses worked with the progressive left to close schools in 2020, leading to severe learning loss in students. This past week, Chicago schools were closed AGAIN while these puppet masters spoke at the DNC:
