@DollysGarden I think it was around 2017 or so, that year in Yorkshire must have suited them for whatever reason 😂 I've long since given up on growing them again. Fussy things.

@DollysGarden It's so frustrating when that happens, you want to give them a good shake and say "Tell me!!! How do I make you so tall and lovely again?!?" 😂 I had one year where I grew spectacular Tithonias. Have never managed to replicate it. Still clueless why they worked that one year 🤷🏼‍♀️

It's 7 degrees and full sun currently, but this time last week the garden was fully frozen! The strawberry patch looked like someone had dusted it with icing sugar. #GardeningTwitter

The Winter Honeysuckle flowers appeared very early this year as it had been so mild, until last week! It barely got above 0 all week, so everything was covered in ice. #GardensHour #FlowerHunting

@GardensHour Ooh and Drimys too! It's got lovely dark green/red/burgundy leaves, and is very slow growing. I think you can buy compact varieties too if you definitely don't want it to get too big #GardensHour

@Sam_SSSLearning It reminds me of the Christmas and Easter cacti I used to have, but I think I prefer the look of this one, the flower is beautiful but I love the leaves too.

My garden outing lasted all of 5 minutes - I did a quick loop then retreated back indoors. Took a quick photo of the pots though, which I thought were looking quite nice. I was hoping for some nice pretty frosts this time of year, but it's just been damp and cloudy! #GardensHour
