MLS could introduce full promotion/relegation.

Obviously, it wasn't perfect. But it was DAY 1, and I expect the team to keep re-evaluating during the course of the season to figure out what makes the best product.

This tournament could and should be epic. And at times it is! But that's usually reserved for when lower sides pull off cupsets.
US Soccer sucks at setting this up. MLS sucks at not treating it with more respect. And I just suck as a human.

One of my favorite storylines in MLS this season that no one is talking about is Ben Olsen & the Dynamo. I know he was kind of a punchline in DC. But he's taken a team that's been really bad up to 6th in the West, & to the semis of the Open Cup. Pretty good redemption arc so far

But again, lower division teams are not performing better than they were in the past.
MLS teams went 23-5 against lower division sides in 2023, 82% win percentage.
Before 2019 MLS teams had 73% win percentage.
The MLS is pulling it's first teams out of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup moving forward.

Just looked it up on Instagram. MLS started posting the new jerseys on February 14th, and all of the jerseys were out shortly after.
So if MLS is following a similar schedule this year... we still have about 2 weeks for the jerseys to be officially released
