Pleasure to be joining the Senate of the Univeristy of Girona. This is a Univeristy that has a long track record in ESD and continues to have high ambitions in sustainability.
Mum, you have been gone a month and I still think I am going to see you at breakfast in the mornings or getting ready to go out..and then there is dinner...there is an empty chair where you sat and told us about your day....and the garden, what can I say.....how can you be gone?

Thank you to so many of you that came to the funeral - the Cathedral could not have fitted any more people in it. It was a true celebration of her life and friendship. Thank you also for the flowers. My sister and I feel comforted by the love that has surrounded us these days.
As it all ends, I wish to thank those who offered their support during the long & dirty campaign. I still believe that politics needs a shake up & extend my thanks to the 8074 who voted for me. I was only 184 votes short of making it into Parliament! Not bad for a first timer :)
So humbled to be the first Gibraltarian to be recognised by the University of Cambridge with an Honorary Fellowship. I am sure I will not be the last. The ceremony was warm, welcoming & yet steeped in tradition. Hoping to strengthen ties between our Rock and Cambridge

A toxic political culture is unjustified and unfair.
We have lead a clean campaign. They know they lose when we talk about values, fairness, substance and delivery.
We need to change the way politics is done!
Here I speak of the impact of dirty politics.
Today has been a challenging day made better by this article from Insight Magazine - remembering Mum; the journalist, the entrepreneur, the gardener, the dancer and overall colourful friend. Thank you Jean, Jo and the insight team. …

Delighted to take on the Chair of the Network of Institutions and Leaders for Future Generations. Founded in 2014, NIFG advocates for responsible, long-term governance, taking into consideration the needs and rights of current and future generations & their natural environments.
‘100 companies are responsible for 77 % of global emissions... yet individual action and ego-centred activism is the focus of our environmental conversations.’ This has been my argument for decades. Pushing for microactions is a tactic to distract people from the real issues.

As week 1 comes to end, we reflect on what has been achieved. I thank the Ministers and young people that participated at the CoP 26 Nov 5th Presidency event - listen to commitments and how governments are coming together to address young people’s needs.

Mr Suarez, Westside school Spanish teacher, may be surprised to learn that I could hold this conversation & respond to the interview questions somewhat meaningfully :) You did make a difference with your teaching.

Thanks OTWO for showcasing our Sustainability Resource Collection. Grateful also to Cultural Services for looking after the collection which is housed at JMH.
Institute of Sport is a private-sector initiative put to me in Oct 2022 seeking cross-party support. Well before Daniella Tilbury joined GSD. The suggestion in GSLP video that this is a vehicle for a GSD job for her husband is a scandalous lie which shows how desperate GSLP are.
Sustainabiliy is not just about the environment. Do you know any individual, group, team or organisation working towards alleviating poverty and/or hunger in our local and regional community? We are keen to recognise them. Please nominate.
